Snow!

I woke up to minimal amounts of snow on the ground. And though it's been snowing all day, the ground is too warm for the snow not to melt. I'm still hoping for more snow and a snow day tomorrow. I don't like Mondays... I know, I know, that song is based on a really horrible event where a girl basically did a school shooting and when asked why she said "I don't like Mondays". Or so the story goes. Either way, it's a good song. :) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Votes: 0 ![]() eMMI a theft! a theft!

It may have snowed here, but there is no snow on the ground right now, it melted. I think it's someone else, who stole the snow from the both of us! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ![]() dinosaursarenomore uhm...about thaaat...

I don't have any way to post pics, But it is snowing in Houston,TX. Which is almost unheard of. I went outside just now with a measuring tape, and there is 2 1/2 inches of snow on the ground. And what is even more unusual about that is, I live 3 miles from Galveston Bay. One MIGHT expect snow a little farther North of here, but being this close to the water, well, I think someone stole it and as a practical joke, started dropping it here. I'm gonna look out of the yard(WHERE WHERE???) and see if that pig I saw once at a Pink Floyd concert is flying about. ![]() BroMaynardG 'e's Really a Bore!

Directly from Wiki - - In addition, a number of Cummings' poems feature, in part or in whole, intentional misspellings, and several incorporate phonetic spellings intended to represent particular dialects. Cummings also made use of inventive formations of compound words, as in "in Just-", which features words such as "mud-luscious", "puddle-wonderful", and "eddieandbill." This poem is part of a sequence of poems entitled Chansons Innocentes. It has many references comparing the "balloonman" to Pan, the mythical creature that is half-goat and half-man. Many of Cummings' poems are satirical and address social issues (see "why must itself up every of a park", above), but have an equal or even stronger bias toward romanticism: time and again his poems celebrate love, sex and the season of rebirth (see "anyone lived in a pretty how town" in its entirety). Cummings' talent extended to childrens' books, novels, and painting. A notable example of his versatility is an introduction he wrote for a collection of the comic strip Krazy Kat. Examples of Cummings' unorthodox typographical style can be seen in his poem "the sky was candy luminous...". I Love You Ignatz! ![]() crzyltvn Cheer up ya ol' bugger!

I really hate today! I finally got my new guitar strings in the mail and I was all, yay! So I started re-stringing my guitar (for the first time ever). After spending who knows how much time and cutting a groove into my thumb I finally had the guitar re-strung. But then when I went to tune it, my B string (sorry, no band joke there) snapped...now I need a new B string. AAAAAAAAAAAARG!!
Edit: I was just a wee bit pissed off there...frustrated really. I'm better now, but I do tend to overreact when pissed off. Sorry. I can't find away to delete it, so, I guess I'll just add this edit.
